UM-Mounts are ideally suited for outdoor modules of 2.5 - 7.0 kW and are often used in combination with a UM-50 element. The UM-100 is then placed on the heavy side (compressor side). These vibration isolators are very 'soft' and offer a high degree of vibration isolation, even with less stable supporting structures . The UM-Mounts are electrolytically galvanized for outdoor installations. It is advisable to provide the elements with a clear tectyl layer after installation, to prevent accelerated aging and corrosion.
